| Community Development | Demonstrates the organization's support of the African American community by providing business expertise and assistance to educational, civic and other nonprofit organizations. | | Corporate Partners | Develops and maintains partnerships with local corporations and small businesses. Solicits support and identifies value-added solutions for all parties. | | Fundraising | Oversees developement and implementation of the Fundraising Plan; identifies and solicits funds from external sources of support. | | Human Resource | Serves as the career networking arm working closely with partners who are committed to diversity to meet their staffing needs. | | Investment | Manages the chapter's investment portfolio as needed to maximize the return on investment. | | Membership | Orients new members and assists the chapter in the NBMBAA's Five Channels of Engagement - Education, Career, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle. | | Program | Plans and organizes professional development forums which provide stakeholders with effective tools for leadership development and networking. | | Public Relations | Enhances the organization's image and builds brand awareness. Provides regular and timely information about chapter initiatives to the membership, media and community. | | Scholarship | Executes the scholarship program which develops future leaders and improves human capital in the metropolitan St. Louis area. | | Student Affairs | Develops and maintains strong relationships with area colleges and universities through collaborative partnerships with student organizations, administrative representatives and faculty. |
